West Virginia University's football team is on a defensive spree! They've just landed a commitment from a talented defensive back, Jaire Rawlison, who's ready to make his mark in the 2026 season.
Rawlison, a 5-foot-9, 182-pound cornerback, has decided to become a Mountaineer after an official visit to the campus. This young athlete has an impressive background, having excelled at York (PA) Bishop McDeVitt in high school before joining Kent State as a Golden Flash.
His freshman year stats are eye-catching: 21 tackles in just 153 snaps! And that's just the beginning. In the most recent season, he started 11 out of 12 games and played almost 700 snaps, proving his durability and value to the team.
But here's where it gets even more impressive: Rawlison accumulated 54 tackles, broke up six passes, and even contributed to a sack. His performance earned him a solid 66.1 grade from PFF, and he still has two years of eligibility left.
